Just got a nice ML

I just bought a Yashica ML 50mm/1.4... for £45. Will have to sell some other lenses now

Now it has arrived! I went out in the woods to try... but I wanted to try wideopen a lot. When I got home I realized how hard it is to focus at f1.4 in freezing cold in the woods laying on the ground, with an EOS 350D with small viewfinder and no focusaid! A lot of blur (bad blur). But I think some images were ok, will fix them up and post them. I need more practice to get it right... Will try some shots inside tonight, in more controlled circumstances.

It sure is And nice to use. But the shallow depth at 1.4 takes some getting use to.
