Portrait with MC Zoom

Postby Mattias on Fri May 01, 2009 8:26 am

Last night we celebrated "valborg" here in Sweden, a holiday (don't know the translation). Shot with the Yashica MC Zoom 35-70mm 3.5-4.5 on my Canon EOS 350D. I made it black and white with channelmixer-layer in Photoshop. We had to leave early but I got a few shots away and this portrait of my wife is quite nice I think. Today I will take the lens to the 1:st of may demonstrations in Sweden.

I broke the chip on the adapter yesterday but I think I will do better without, because the chip was in the way of the little aperturepin on the mount of some of the Yashica lenses. I don't use AF-confirm much anyway...

the night before 1. of may is "walpurgis night" in Germany, the night when the witches dance on mountain "Brocken". So be careful at that time, they could catch you...
hope you had some fun together, it looks like you had.

Thanks :) Fun, but not long - it was a little bit to late for my daughter so we had to go home early.
